METRO's humble beginning started at Rajkot, Gujarat in 1978 from the sheer determination and hard work of two bright and enterprising young men. Both, Suresh Patel and Shantilal Patel (AKA Ashok Patel) joined hands in making their dream of a successful company a reality. The company started to design induction furnace for heat treatment, and melting of steel, copper and brass foundries.
